Once a legendary star on the professional racing circuit, Hyun Dam-Hwa loses his memories in a catastrophic crash during the British Grand Prix and is forced to return to South Korea. While attempting to piece his life back together, he stays in touch with Lee Yu-Gang, a former fellow racer. As their conversations continue, Dam-Hwa gradually develops a deep sense of admiration and romantic feelings for him. One day, while taking photos at a racetrack, Dam-Hwa unexpectedly runs into Yu-Gang. Shocked by the encounter, Dam-Hwa suddenly collapses on the spot, prompting Yu-Gang to take him back to his private hotel room.
When Dam-Hwa opens his eyes, he finds himself trapped in a hazy, overwhelming nightmare as Yu-Gang ruthlessly claims his body. Unable to tell whether he is trapped in a feverish dream or reality, Dam-Hwa trembles under the weight of Yu-Gang's cold, mocking murmur: "You're a completely new person now, Hyun Dam-Hwa. Except down here."
